UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH PURPOSE

With continuing awareness of the concerns and responsibilities of the Church in today’s world, United Women in Faith shall support ministry with and advocate for the oppressed and dispossessed with special attention to the needs of women, children, and youth; shall work to build a supportive community among women; and shall engage in activities that foster growth in the Christian faith, mission education, and Christian social involvement throughout the organization.

 

Barts Centenary United Women in Faith is an active group who meet monthly on the second Tuesday of each month at 3:30 P.M. We use UWF program resources at our meetings. We have two main money making events during the year— a summer yard sale during Good ‘Ole Days in August and a Cookie Walk early in December. Several members sell Rada knives throughout the year to add to our funds. We have a long list of budgeted giving to our local church and community organizations as well as to national and international projects and causes through our donations to our conference level organization.
